Description by Rob

Prefab dormer windows were recently installed in my home, so I was looking for new window sills. We made the knee walls ourselves with planed pine wood and finished with plasterboard. The standard convertible window sills are very expensive, so I ended up with TOSIZE.fi.

How I made this project

The MDF window sills were measured tightly and ordered with 5 mm clearance. All plates were accurately sawn and the result is very sleek. The window sills extend 30 mm and are relatively easy to paint.

Dimensions of my DIY project

Window sill overhang 30 mm.
