Remco needed a new frame for his awnings. Instead of hiring someone, he decided to tackle the project himself — with a little help from TOSIZE.fi. And with success: he created a completely new frame that fits perfectly on the existing brackets.
What did you make?
I needed new frames for the awnings on my house. The old wooden parts were worn out, so I decided to replace them. First, I removed all the boards and measured them. Because the vertical parts are staggered, I couldn't cut them to size myself. So I made a drawing and sent it to TOSIZE.fi.
We were in contact several times to ensure that everything was exactly right. They then cut the panels exactly according to the drawing — even the sloping sides were perfect!

After measuring and working out the drawing, I ordered the wood from TOSIZE.fi. When the panels were delivered, I touched up the corners a little and sanded, primed and varnished everything twice.
The parts were cut so precisely that I could mount the new conversion directly onto the existing brackets — the dimensions were accurate to the millimetre! I painted the brackets to achieve a sleek and smooth end result.
By choosing Timberboard Pine dark, the frame was given a natural, warm look and is sturdy enough to last for years. Thanks to the good preparation and accurate sawing service provided by TOSIZE.fi, I was able to carry out this entire project myself.
